MAKING YOUR MARK...
These workshops are designed to immerse us simultaneously with creativity and nature. They take place over a half or full day. We will learn to calm ourselves and to tune in and also switch off as a way to let creativity flow. We'll explore various techniques - mark making, texture, line, personal expression, ways of seeing that open us out to creating.

I have a degree in Fine Art, majoring as a sculptor working in multiple materials. I have also spent many years on Dartmoor/outdoors drawing and photographing the landscape and much more. I love helping others to connect to their own individual creativity with the support of the natural world around us. I'm a trained healer and Animal Communicator, so all of this will add a unique perspective to your experience. I provide all or most materials for these days. Please bring your own lunch if it's all day and let me provide cake!
UPCOMING WORKSHOP - 9th September 2023
MORNING WORKSHOP 10.30am - 1pm Rattery Village Hall, Devon
This is set to be a delightful morning. We will create a seasonal flower from paper, wire and mixed media.

This is a fantastic way of creating that is relaxing, immersive and super fun too. Working with old books, paint, oil pastels, ink, wire, and more. We will take inspiration from flowers live and direct. I'll share techniques for how to create a seasonal flower. This is a great medium that is simple to work with and uses reclaimed book pages at the core. If you would like to bring some pages of a book that you wish to work with, please do!

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SHARP SCISSORS!
(this is so you can use your own to cut the paper with)
Other creative materials are provided. And I will make a cake too!

DRAWING WORKSHOP - 15th October 2022
This is set to be a delightful day. We'll immerse with the wonderful energy of trees. Leaning into connecting with them and then allowing that to influence how we create on the page. I've spent a lot of time around trees and find them super-engaging to draw.
This is about learning how you want to express your own creativity. We'll enjoy the grounding, supportive and expansive presence of the trees. We will work in monochrome for great effect and focus.

Please bring your own lunch, drinks etc and something to sit on (whatever is best for you). Clothing for different weathers and temperatures is essential.

All creative materials are provided. And I will make a cake too!
